All Day Rehearsal

September 18, 2004

This was the all-day rehearsal scheduled after our first football performance. The band was soaked during a downpour during the halftime show, and everyone was still tired and a bit worn out from the performance as they showed up in the morning.

Dr. Markoch gave them a pep-talk in the morning, and explained that since it was a dreary day, we wouldn't rehearse in the rain. So the winds rehearsed for a half-day (percussion and guard went the whole day).

Many parents were hard at work: props were painted, guard costumes sewn, uniforms checked and shoes painted, ponchos dried and folded from the previous night, and many other tasks were completed. Not to mention the parents who worked the Northern Tools Open House fundraiser!

Shown are some pictures taken by della Martin early in the day.
