Atlanta Trip
Weather & The Cumberland MallThe next morning, we awoke to thunderstorms as we readied for our 8:30am breakfast. The breakfast buffet was in our own ballroom, and was an abundant spread of scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, cereal, milk, orange juice, and fruit. During breakfast, Doc announced the change in the day's plans. The original plan was to leave the hotel at 9:30 and go to Six Flags for an 11:30 performance. Instead, we would stay at the hotel until 10:30, then go to a local mall to eat lunch and walk around while waiting for the storm front to pass. Then we'd proceed to Six Flags, have some time in the park, perform at 7pm, then return to riding rides until the park closed. Finally...Six FlagsAfter the mall, we finally made it to Six Flags. After telling the kids to meet at the front gate at 6pm for the performance, the park passes and meal tickets were passed out and the kids spread out in the park to ride the coasters, eat, and enjoy Six Flags. <<< Back to Page 1 or Page 2 >>> On to Page 4
